Biography: William M. McKee is a veteran trial lawyer, with over 29 years of experience representing people both in and out of the courtroom. He handles Criminal and Traffic cases, Small Business matters, Domestic Relations cases, Personal Injury Cases, and selected cases touching upon Immigration Issues.
Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Will has been a long-time resident of Hampton Roads, having first come to the area in 1971 as a young Naval Officer aboard the USS Newport News (CA-148). After earning a M.B.A. from Old Dominion University in 1974 and his law degree from The College of William and Mary in 1976, Will taught Business Law and Finance at Virginia Teach until 1980. Will returned to Tidewater in 1981 as an attorney in the Navy JAG Corps, stationed at Norfolk. Starting in January 1984, Will spent over six years as a prosecutor in the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office of Chesapeake, Virginia.
Will has been in private practice in the Tidewater area since 1990, during which time he has successfully represented thousands of clients in all major areas of law. He has appeared in nearly every local trial court in Southeastern Virginia, State and Federal, and he has significant experience representing clients before the Virginia Court of Appeals, the Virginia Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Will lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with his family.
